Deep Fission is an advanced nuclear energy company developing small modular pressurized water reactors designed to operate one mile underground. Founded in 2023 by father-daughter team Elizabeth and Richard Muller, the Company is led by a team of experienced scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs committed to delivering safe, reliable, and cost-effective clean power at scale. Deep Fission's Gravity™ Nuclear Reactor combines established PWR technology with deep borehole drilling and geothermal heat transfer. This novel underground deployment model is designed to simplify construction and enhance safety—reducing the cost and complexity of nuclear deployment to support rapid, scalable commercial deployment. Deep Fission is a participant in the U.S. Department of Energy's Reactor Pilot Program, with its first pilot reactor in Parsons, Kansas, and a customer pipeline of up to 18.5 GWe.
